What is a Pre-Purchase Inspection?
A Pre-Purchase Inspection is a comprehensive report of the condition of a vehicle. It is peace of mind for you as the buyer and a great negotiating tool with the seller.
Our Fully Qualified Highly Trained Motor Mechanics and Approved Examiner’s spend every day looking for faults on vehicles when issuing Safety Certificates.
Our Qualified mobile mechanics usually have seen the same vehicle you are buying in almost every condition and can give you an unbiased, experienced opinion if the wear on the vehicle is fair or not.

Options for a more thorough inspection are available to add-on to the standard bundle and in our Comprehensive and Comprehensive Plus bundles.
This inspection takes 1-2 hours and a detailed verbal report upon completion will inform you of our findings and answer any questions you may have.
We do not require you to be there, many customers are unable to take time off work, or you may be an interstate buyer. We are your eyes and ears.

Verbal Report on completion
Verbal report: Mechanic will call you on completion to discuss the inspection and answer any questions you may have.
Digital Report on completion
Digital report: Detailed Report emailed on completion, including findings, Photos of Interior, Exterior, Engine bay, Wheels & Tyres.
Road Test
A road test of approximately 5Km to Check & test steering, suspension, brake operation, engine and driveline operation, Transmission, Differential & 4×4 operation.
Mechanical Integrity Inspection
Electrical System: Including battery, alternator and charging system check, light operation and condition, horn, heater demister and a/c operation.
Oil Leaks: Report on all visible engine, driveline and brake system oil leaks.
Engine: Including cooling system, pipes & hoses, Fluid levels, Fuel System, Braking System, timing Belt/Chain (where possible) drive belts & pulleys, engine oil level and condition, mountings.
Road wheels: Including tyre tread depth & condition, Wheels & Spare.
Brakes: Brake pads are inspected, Rotors, Brake lines.
Under body inspection: Including panels, frames, steering and suspension, exhaust and driveline components.
Cosmetic & Locks Inspection
Body (panels and paint): General panel and paint condition. Checking for signs of repair and damage, Sunroof/ Convertible.
Interior: Interior trim including seats, restraints, windows, Radio, Wipers, Washers, Locking, Warning Lights.
Glass: Condition of windscreen and operation of all windows.
Door Locks: Including central locking mechanisms, Remotes.
Vehicle History Check
Will reveal if the vehicle has money owing, is leased, has been stolen, written-off, and accidents reported.
Digital Diagnostic Scan
The advanced diagnostic computer scan will check for faults stored in vehicles computer system EG ABS, SRS ESP, Engine & Transmission, Sensors etc.
